The Townhouse Hotel - Tenby

Dirty walls and poor ventilation in bathrooms were just the beginning. I also expected a complimentary bottle of wine for my trouble, but they offered no such thing. So disappointing, really. Almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't, sorry not sorry!

Thoroughly enjoyed our well-kept and nicely decorated rooms.

I had 1 night in Tenby, spending the time here lovely. The morning meal was freshly prepared with cooked fresh to order, yogurt and also daily special. The hotel had a central location and it was minutes from Tenby Castle. Besides, I were very close to Right next to the esplanade and the seafront, car park around the corner and a 2 minute walk into town. The service offered was good.

Expected a more spacious room considering the price-£19 less than a 4-star hotel in London-felt cramped. Cold water in the shower on the first night was a letdown, although it got fixed quickly. Not being aware of the room not being automatically made up was frustrating, returning to an untouched room on the second day.

The hotel was located about 5 minutes walk from centre. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a fridge, central heating and a coffee/tea maker were a nice touch. I enjoyed fabulous food.

The breakfast was good, with exquisite local ingredients and unique daily specials that kept us excited each morning! Huw, our attentive host, remembered our breakfast preferences. Our room was stylish and cozy, complete with a fridge stocked with fresh milk and Kit Kats, our comforts were met every minute of our stay.

amazing access to tenby's top sights and charming coast

The hotel is just a short 5-minute walk to the beautiful South Beach, made my weekend strolls enjoyable.

We stayed in the Superior Double Room for 5 nights, and it was fantastic! The room was spacious and airy, with a comfy king-sized bed and a lovely seating area that converted into two extra single beds. Breakfast was really good, with a delicious cooked Welsh breakfast and great coffee. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and town.

The shower water pressure could have been better.

The Townhouse is a gem! The location is just a hop away from South Beach, and the breakfasts are out of this world, with daily specials that kept our taste buds dancing! Our room was immaculate, boasting a lovely sea view and an added touch of luxury with its mini fridge stocked with fresh milk and KitKats.

The breakfast was so good! The daily specials kept every morning exciting, and the quality of local ingredients was excellent. I loved the cozy seating area in our Superior Double Room. The fine sea view from the room enhanced our overall experience.

The shower water pressure could use improvement.

The room was beautifully decorated with lovely white shutters, and I loved every bit of the quality produce in breakfast. Relaxing in the cozy lounge area while watching a movie was a nice touch after a long day. The stairs have a bit of a slant, typical for an older building, but it didn't take away from my experience at all. 😊

The townhouse was just the perfect place for our 3-night stay. Huws warm welcome. Our superior double room was spacious and had plenty of hanging space. It was a short 50-metre walk to the beach and close to town. The coffee machine in the room was a fantastic touch, we had lovely drinks available whenever we wanted.
